Increased efficiency with ‘Injection Intelligence’
The trade fair presence of Austrian rubber injection moulding machine manufacturer MAPLAN, in Hall 16, Stand D 40, will focus on ways in which to upgrade existing systems in addition to their newly structured range of innovative machines. Both focal points are aimed at offering users economically interesting ways to increase their competitiveness at a time of economic uncertainty. This encompasses options such as affordably exchanging machine control systems, upgrading automation equipment and refitting energy consumption displays. A horizontal RAPID+ 700 dual / 300 and a vertical ERGO+ 6000 / 400 with comprehensive automation modules will be presented as examples of the new machine range, demonstrating MAPLAN’s new range as a purveyor of modular and 360° full-system solutions.

Recently Maplan has been awarded with the FABRIK AWARD 2018 for Green Factory 2018 – initiated from Fraunhofer Austria and Industriemagazin. Maplan has also achieved the 2nd place in „Austrias best company“. We congratulate the other finalists: Melecs EWS, Voestalpine Weichensysteme and Agrana Stärke.

Maplan on target for growth
Maplan is celebrating the beginning of construction of a new plant in Malacky, Slovakia where it is investing €4.5 million. The investment in Slovakia will be a boost to the Maplan headquarters in Austria! Maplan plans to invest a total of €20 million in new production facilities by the beginning of 2018. With over €50 million, 2017 has seen the highest turnover ever achieved for Maplan and the best order situation in its history.
